StokeyParents secures discounts for local shoppers with Family Card

 

Yikes – we’ve only gone and done it.

 

After months of plodding the streets of Stokey and Islington getting to know our fabulous traders we’ve launched a family discount card to save you money across dozens of local shops and cafés.

 

We hope it’s a win-win-win situation; great savings for you, more trade for local stores and funding for some TLC for a community website which we hope you’ve come to love.

 

You could make back the cost of the card with one yummy family meal at HOMA, a special meal or takeaway at Trattoria Sapori, lunch at Nancy’s Pantry or by buying a sling or a pram at Born.  But we have so many local businesses on board that the card is bound to pay for itself in no time.

 

And to make the card even sweeter, we’ve teamed up with Islington Mums to ensure our reach extends beyond Stoke Newington, Dalston and Clapton. A number of Islington firms are already on board and more will join over the coming weeks.

 

It has been great fun and a hard slog setting this up and timing shop visits and work around a sleeping baby. Since deciding to become a fulltime mum I seem to have worked harder than ever before.

 

We’re open for orders now and the cards (glossy and rather lovely) will be dispatched in the first week of July.
